Shri Dr.Vijay Sankeshwar, born in 1950 and graduated in commerce from KUD. He started his career from a printing press at a very young age of 16. Later he diversified his business into transport industry, which started in the name of Vijayanand Roadlines with just one lorry. It is now established as one of the transport giant in the name of VRL. Dr.Vijay Sankeshwar has also launched a new kannada daily “ Vijayvani with 10 editions”. Dr Sankeshwar has recently ventured into the media field with his newly found news channel DIGVIJAY news.
He is an awardee of many prestigious awards , to name a few Udyog Ratna, Sarige RatnaVisheshwarayya Navaratna Award, Patrikodyama hagu samajika seva puraskaar, , Sarige Samrat, Enterpreneur of the year, Honorary Doctrate, International Udyog Ratna…. The list us unending.
